WELL, IT MIGHT MAKE YOU FEEL A LITTLE BETTER
MAY 21 Blogger Jason Brad Berry started this petition on MoveOn.org to recall Bobby Jindal, and so far it's collecting signatures like Bobby collects, well, hmmm. (What does Bobby collect? White paintings of himself?) ANYWAY, it's collecting a lot of signatures. It's not going to accomplish anything in terms of the law, because it's not a valid recall petition, but it certainly should generate press, and we know how much Bobby loves that.

ASWELL: EXECUTIVE ORDER CHALLENGES COULD BE SIMILAR
MAY 21 Blogger Tom Aswell give us a run-down on an on-going challenge to one of Gov. Jindal's previous executive orders in this post. The language and strategy being used in that case could certainly be used by anyone who plans to challenge Jindal's order of this week, which allows discrimination against gay people.

BUZZ: JINDAL'S MORPHING INTO DUKE
MAY 21 Blogger Stephen Sabludowsky gives us his take on what has happened this week in the legislature and in Bobby Jindal's continual attempts to build lame pandering into a legit presidential campaign. His view? If Bobby's trying to be the new (and darker) David Duke, he's doing a helluva job.

THERE ARE SMART PEOPLE, AND THEY ALL READ ESQUIRE
MAY 21 This is a short and sweet post on Charles Pierce's "Stupid for Lunch" blog in Esquire about our Bobby Jindal. If you're interested in politics you should probably be reading his blog already, and not just for his entries. Take a minute and read the comments on his posts; they're often as hilarious - if not more - than the original Pierce post. This one is no different.

MAY 21 This post on Hotty Totty takes a look at Louisiana's craft beer brewers. It's got a little history, a little update and some cool photos.

OUR DISTINCTIVE CAUSE OF DEATH
MAY 21 Here's an interesting story on NPR about a study done on "distinctive" causes of death in each state. The researcher looked at the most common causes of death, then compared death rates in each state to see which cause of death in each state was the most "off" of the national rate. For instance, the rate of people who die of "legal intervention" in Nevada is much higher than the national rate. What's ours? Well, it ain't good, that's for sure.
Thursday's Blogs from the Bog!
Zombie has a petition to "recall" Jindal up -- it won't recall anybody, but maybe it will send a message. (We can email it to Iowa so Bobby can read when he gets there) Also today, a feature on Louisiana craft brews and Buzz says Bobby's looking a lot like Duke.
