She was a college student, the daughter of a NOLA police officer and her NOLA fire fighter husband. It's an amazing letter, on a number of levels.

JUL 7 The Baton Rouge Business Report posts this item on a court hearing Monday in the St. George secession case over in Baton Rouge. The group sued, trying to force a review of some of the signatures the Registrar of Voters threw out, rendering their petition dead in the water. The judge rejected their claim.
