The Advocate reports that the company will soon be opening a restaurant serving authentic Cajun food, as well as offering an expanded tour highlighting the process of making, bottling and distributing the spicy concoction.

The visitor center is expected to open in late fall and the restaurant is set to open in late July, as the company celebrates nearly 150 years operating on Avery Island.

The visitor center will feature a museum that is designed to explain the origins of the brand and highlight the company’s history on the island.

Current factory and garden tours on Avery Island continue to be offered during construction.
