Lafayette native Shanna Naumann has joined strategic branding and marketing communications firm Russo as a brand consultant in the company’s New Orleans Office.
Naumann has more than 27 years of experience developing high-performing teams, growing market share and coaching high-potential leaders. She began her career in the cable advertising industry in 1990 with CableTime, a subsidiary of TCA Cable, at a time when few found the value in advertising on cable networks. In 1998, TCA Cable and CableTime were acquired by Cox Communications, and Naumann was named vice president and general manager of the Northeast Division for Cox Media.
In 2001, she accepted the position as VP/GM for Cox Media Louisiana and settled in New Orleans, overseeing the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Alexandria and Lake Charles markets. After 18 years of honing her skills in almost every area of business, Shanna stepped out to start her own consulting business, Professional Consulting Partners, where she has worked with CEOs and small business owners of companies across a wide variety of industries.
Naumann received a BA in graphic design from LSU. She has received numerous honors in her career, including American Business Woman of the Year, The Robert Alter Award, presented by the the Cable Advertising Bureau for her work post-Katrina, and several leadership awards from her years with Cox Media. She also is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette, Class XXIII. Outside of work, she volunteers at her church and has worked with Bridge Ministries. Her passion is mentoring rising professional women, coaching and inspiring them to fulfill their potential.
