Southern Screen Film Festival presents 'Labyrinth'

On Thursday night, the Southern Screen Film Festival is hosting a special screening of “Labyrinth” at the Jefferson Street Pub.

On Thursday night, the Southern Screen Film Festival is hosting a special screening of the cult classic Labyrinth, starring none other than the legendary David Bowie, at the Jefferson Street Pub.

Labyrinth tells the story of a selfish 16-year old girl who is given only 13 hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother after her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King.

Labyrinth is the next installment of the Southern Screen Film Festival’s Cult Classic series, which takes place on Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Jefferson Street Pub located at 500 Jefferson St. in Downtown Lafayette. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the screening starting at 8 p.m. Admission is $5
