District 3 City Council Candidate Forums tonight

Downtown Lafayette is teaming up with the Freetown-Port Rico, LaPlac and McComb-Veazey Coteries to host a Candidate Forum for those running for the City Council District 3 tonight at the Lafayette Main Library.

The candidate forum offers a great opportunity for interested citizens to hear from the four candidates vying for the District 3 Council seat who will speak about the future of Downtown Lafayette, and how they will engage in the revitalization of the urban core if elected. One Acadiana also encourages its members who are interested in it's urban revitalization and development strategy to attend.

The District 3 City-Council Candidate Forum takes place on Monday, Sept. 21, at 5:30 p.m. at the Lafayette Public Library, located at 301 W. Congress St. in Downtown Lafayette. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, find the District 3 City Council Candidate Forum on Facebook.
