The Legislature gets down to the people's business today when the Senate Transportation Committee hears SB 737. The bill by Sen. Dan "Blade" Morrish of Jennings would posthumously honor zydeco great Boozoo Chavis and designate La. Hwy. 385 in Lake Charles as the "Wilson Anthony 'Boozoo' Chavis Memorial Highway."
