The kids need to rock and Eat Us Feed Us can give it to them. Check them out if your into beer swilling, mild arson, whammy bars, bad decisions, or just general debauchery. They will be playing along with Isle Derniére, who provide original songs about life and death, love and heartbreak, the natural and the supernatural, all of which are sung in Louisiana French.

Blackpot Festival is swiftly approaching, so come learn some Zydeco steps, review old ones and add new moves to impress the crowds. National touring act Brian Weelan will be taking the stage. Doors open at 7 p.m. with dance lesson from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. followed by the band at 8:45 p.m.

Louisiana native and Austin-based singer and songwriter Wendy Colonna will be returning to Lafayette at the Blue Moon Saloon. Colonna will be bringing her swampy, soulful sound for an exciting night of music. This rare show will feature special guests including guitarist Sam Broussard and fiddle player David Greely. Both Broussard and Greely are tenured, celebrated musical contributors to the soundscape of Acadiana and are members of Grammy-nominated act Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys.

Bach Lunch will be celebrating 27 years this fall and is the popular free lunch hour series featuring different musicians performing from noon to 1 p.m. Lunches are available for purchase from local restaurants on a first-come, first-served basis. Proceeds go to the support of the Lafayette Science Museum. Enjoy lunch from Bailey's Seafood & Grill, Chick-Fil-A and Deano's.

Downtown Alive! is bringing The Charmaine Neville Band to Parc Sans Souci. Charmaine is sure to light up the stage with her rich vocals and smooth R&B rhythms and make it a night to remember. In an extra special twist, DTA! and the Downtown Restaurant and Bar Association are teaming up to offer theme nights at DTA! and in Downtown bars and restaurants after DTA! so break out the grass skirts for Hawaiian night.

The Lost Bayou Ramblers was formed by brothers Andre and Louis Michot. The brothers quickly began playing clubs and festivals around Louisiana, and taking the traditional music they were raised with to new levels of rhythmic energy and spontaneity, producing the punk and psychedelic labels given to the band by reviews over the years. They are always experimenting and growing the show to what it’s become today, an eclectic mix of modern sounds and rhythms with ancient Cajun melodies and lyrics.
