Lafayette International Center and Alliance Française de Lafayette, in partnership with the Lafayette Parish Master Gardeners Association, and Lafayette Central Park, invite the public to a luncheon with the most famous gardener since Candide, Monsieur Alain Baraton, Gardener-in-chief of the Park at Chateau de Versailles, France.
Monsieur Baraton will also autograph his books, including his most recent publication, The Gardener of Versailles: My Life in the World’s Grandest Garden. Available at the door at $27, but quantity is limited.
The event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette. Admission to the luncheon is $30 per person. Places are limited. Registrations are not refundable but substitutions are accepted. For more details and registration information visit Eventbrite.com.
