Don Pippin Jr. has purchased Sunbelt Business Brokers of Lafayette, a business brokerage franchise, from Ricky and Robin Wright.
“I’ve been a resident of Lafayette for over 15 years. It’s a terrific city with a strong entrepreneurial driven economy,” Pippin said in a press release announcing the purchase. “Currently, there are many opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in the Acadiana area. Both buyers and sellers will greatly benefit from the services of Sunbelt Business Brokers.”
Pippin has an extensive business background in mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, franchise acquisitions and marketing. He has been a franchise owner of an IT solutions business and a nationwide signage business.
Pippin also co-founded a company that developed a national hospital emergency business information system and an electronic filing system that links law firms with the court system. For the past 18 years, he has been actively engaged with real estate development projects in Louisiana, Texas and Colorado. He is also the owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers offices in Beaumont, Texas, and Lake Charles.
