On the Move

Stanley joining Sides & Assoc.

The city-parish chief administrative officer will take a VP gig with the PR and advertising firm in January.

Dee Stanley, the chief administrative officer of Lafayette Consolidated Government for the last 12 years whose bid to rise to city-parish president in the Oct. 24 primary fell short, has landed on his feet.

Sides & Associates, a Lafayette PR, marketing, advertising and governmental relations firm, announced Monday morning that Stanley has been hired as a vice president. Stanley will assume the position following the inauguration of the new administration headed by City-Parish President-elect Joel Robideaux on Jan. 4, 2016.

Prior to serving for three terms as outgoing C-P President Joey Durel’s CAO, Stanley was news director, anchor and a crackerjack investigative reporter for KLFY TV-10 where his wife, Blue Rolfes, is a longtime anchor. Stanley also previously served as clerk of the Lafayette City Council prior to consolidation.
