Lafayette native André Breaux has returned home to direct One Acadiana’s policy initiatives.
Breaux is now responsible for leading the advancement of 1A's policy goals and strategic initiatives, including those related to transportation infrastructure, PreK-12 education and workforce development.
Breaux, who was valedictorian at Lafayette High School in 2004 and went on to graduate from Loyola University New Orleans with the university’s top undergraduate honor, has a master of public service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
“One Acadiana’s vision is for our nine-parish region to become one of the most desirable places for business and talent in the South,” 1A President and CEO Jason El Koubi said in announcing the new hire. “We’re working to build on our strong regional talent base, and we’re already starting to see that happen. Our impressive 1A staff is a case in point.”
