ASO presents GAIA: A Musical Voyage

The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra presents GAIA: A Musical Voyage this Sunday, at Angelle Hall as part of its 2016 Concert Season.

Gaia is the ancient Greeks' personification of Mother Earth. The beauty of nature in many different corners of the world is splendidly illustrated by three captivating musical paintings. Listeners will experience a bucolic scene and folk dance from Hungary, the charm and exuberance of the Mediterranean, and a poetic and dramatic symphony by a famous German Romantic composer. This one-of-a-kind musical journey, with renowned Italian pianist, Antonio di Cristofano, is not to be missed.

The Acadiana Symphony Orchestra presents GAIA: A Musical Voyage this Sunday, March 6 at 3 p.m. at Angelle Hall on the UL Campus. For information or to purchase tickets visit www.AcadianaSymphony.org.
