The skilled hands of physicians took on a new meaning when Lafayette General Foundation hosted a special art exhibition and auction featuring the works of doctors and employees of Lafayette General Health. The event at AcA brought in more than $23,000 for the foundation, which funds activities from equipment at LGMC’s NICU to telemedicine in public school and cancer screening for women.

“I want to thank everyone who donated items for the auction, as well as those in attendance who were so generous in their support of our health system,” says Cian Robinson, executive director of the foundation. “These funds help our communityowned system improve health care for the entire region.”

More than 100 attended the event with eats from iMonelli and more than 50 donated art pieces, including paintings, woodcarving, jewelry and other items up for bid.
