Artmosphere hosts Flood Relief Concert this Saturday

Artmosphere Bistro is hosting a special Flood Relief Concert this Saturday to benefit Baton Rouge and Lafayette residents displaced or otherwise affected by the Great Flood of 2016.

Live performances will be held by Brass Mimosa, Burris and Dustin Gaspard with all of the evening’s proceeds going to benefit local disaster relief efforts.

In an email detailing the event, Artmosphere owner Berry Kemp-Moody stated:

Let's make a difference this Saturday! Baton Rouge and Lafayette have been overwhelmed with amazing support from the communities! We've seen countless donations, benefit concerts and more. Burris, Brass Mimosa and Artmosphere are happy to be a part of this!

Admission will be a $10 donation at the door, though additional donations will be welcomed. Raffle prizes will also be available for $5 and include items from NOLA Brewing Co., Lafayette Music along with band merchandise, gifts from Artmosphere and more.

All proceeds from the door donations and raffle prizes will go towards the American Red Cross and MusiCares.

The Flood Relief Show will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Artmosphere, located at 902 Johnston St., in Downtown Lafayette. Doors open at 8 p.m., with music starting at 9 p.m. For more information visit Facebook.com.
