Wurst Biergarten hosts Flood Relief Fundraiser this Saturday

Lafayette's creative community is banding together for a night of art and music at The Wurst Biergarten with 100 percent of cover and auction proceeds going to benefit the flood victims via United Way.

Lafayette's creative community is banding together for a Flood Relief Fundraiser, which will be a night of art and music at The Wurst Biergarten with 100 percent of cover and auction proceeds going to benefit the flood victims via United Way.

The first 50 guests receive free beer until the keg floats, courtesy of Bayou Teche Brewery, with a $10 donation with $5 donations per entry for everyone after.

Live music will be provided by Rareluth, Social Circle, Meredith accompanied by Philip Gould, and Dustin Gaspard and The Freetown Sounds.

Live Art Creations will be held by Sophie Berard, Burt Kidder, Ryan LaFleur and Kelly Russo. There will also be an exhibit from Parisian-style Sketch Artist Nicholas Lott. Art pieces will be held in a silent auction with proceeds going to benefit flood victims.

The Flood Relief Fundraiser is produced by Meredith Johnson and Paige Daye and takes place this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Wurst Biergarten in Downtown Lafayette.
