The Latin Music Festival returns the first weekend of October to its new location at Moncus Park at the Horse Farm with live music, food and lots of dancing.

At this new location, the free and family friendly Latin Music Festival is expanding to two full days of multicultural music, folkloric dances, Latin & Cajun food by local restaurants and Arts & Crafts.

The Latin Music Festival is put on by the Asociación Cultural Latino-Acadiana, which is a volunteer organization at the service of the Acadiana community in general and its Latin American members in particular to offer the free, family-friendly Latin Music Festival and other efforts promoting multiculturalism and preserving heritage.

The Latin Music Festival begins on Saturday, Oct. 1, from noon to 10 p.m., and continues on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Horse Farm. For more information, visit LatinoAcadiana.org.
