Peggy Grace, formerly of Par Realty, has partnered with Germany-based firm in Lafayette and Lake Charles.

On Oct. 25 Engel & Völkers North America, a division of the Germany-based residential and commercial real estate firm, celebrated its entrance into the Lafayette market via a license agreement with Peggy Grace, formerly of Par Realty. The Lafayette firm is located at 1223 Camellia Blvd.; Grace has partnered with Engel & Völkers in Lake Charles as well.

Engel & Völkers also expanded into Baton Rouge and New Orleans this year.

“As Lafayette continues to experience strong interest from global buyers, the official opening of Engel & Völkers Lafayette will further solidify the firm’s presence in the Louisiana marketplace,” Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America, said in a news release. “Through unparalleled on-the-ground expertise and top-tier level of service, Peggy and her team have proven themselves to be an ideal partner to best serve the diverse real estate clientele in this key area.”

Engel & Völkers Lafayette provides services for buyers and sellers of properties in Lafayette and its surrounding parishes and regions. The European firm says it was drawn to Lafayette in part because of the area’s ability to lure millennials attracted to the city’s art, music and festivals.

“As Lafayette’s thriving art community and deep cultural history continues to appeal to buyers from across the country and the world, the new shop will meet these clients’ real estate needs,” Grace says in the release. “With Engel & Völkers’ international network and comprehensive resources, we anticipate continued success in Lafayette as the region continues to rapidly grow into a sought-after destination for home buyers.”

Engel & Völkers is fast expanding in the U.S. and across North America.
