Oil Center After Hours closes with Roddie Romero & The Hub City Allstars

The Oil Center’s free outdoor concert series, Oil Center After Hours, closes out its fall season this Wednesday with a special performance from the Grammy-nominated Roddie Romero & The Hub City Allstars.

The concert will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the entirely underutilized Heymann Memorial Park beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Roddie Romero & the Hub City All Stars are a renowned, Grammy nominated Louisiana band who have been performing worldwide at the most prestigious venues and festivals and venues for more than 25 years. This premier Louisiana band is celebrated not only for their authenticity when performing or recording traditional Cajun and Creole music indigenous to South Louisiana, but also for their original songwriting which stays true to Louisiana inspirations. They are notorious "Louisiana-Roots-Rockers" centered around infectious grooves and soulful originals. American music is Roddie Romero & the Hub City All Stars — born out of the Delta dirt — rising high off the levee of traditionalism and into the future of Louisiana Music.
