Silverbacks Improv Theatre presents ‘The 90s’

The group will improvise a one-act play inspired by classic 90s television shows, such as Full House, Family Matters, Home Improvement and more.

On Wednesday, Jan. 25, local improv troupe Silverbacks will revisit its popular "90s Sitcom" format.

The group will improvise a one-act play inspired by classic 90s television shows, such as Full House, Family Matters, Home Improvement and more. Some could call it: Step by Step Family Improvement Full of Ties in the Wonder Years when a Boy Meets World - "A 90s Sitcom.”

Costumed in their best 90’s apparel, the performers will embrace the golden age of family sitcoms (or the lowest sitcoms of all time, depending on your perspective). Family hijinks, wacky neighbors, precocious kids, blended families, and coming of age – all are ripe for the picking at this one-time-only improvised event.

The Silverbacks Improv Theatre will present “The 90s” this Wednesday night at The Hive (formerly Theatre 810) in Downtown Lafayette. Tickets are $10 at the door, or $8 with a student I.D. Reservations can be made by calling 337-484-0172. For more details, visit www.SilverbacksImprov.com.
