Cynthia Beslin has joined Rayne Building and Loan as business development manager, a newly created position at the personal real estate and mortgage lending institution.
She is responsible for locating and developing new business relationships and markets in Acadiana, as well as planning and implementing the bank’s marketing strategy.
Beslin, who most recently worked for a global insurance company and retains her financial licenses, has owned two retail companies. She also previously served as marketing director at Rayne State Bank.
Beslin earned a B.A. in communications/business from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala.
A member of the Realtor Association of Acadiana and the Acadian Home Builders Association, Beslin serves as president of Connections Women’s Professional Networking of Lafayette. She is a member of both the Rotary Club of Rayne and The Rayne Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of EXCEL leadership program, which is co-sponsored by the chambers of commerce of Crowley and Jeff Davis.
