Spirited March for Science courses through UL Research Park

Hundreds celebrated Earth Day in Lafayette with the March for Science along Cajundome Boulevard. (video)

It’s a shame that science has become a political cudgel over the last two decades. But with a science-averse White House bent on crippling the Environmental Protection Agency backed by a political party that is dismissive of science when it’s politically and financially expedient as a backdrop, more than 200 folks gathered on Cajundome Boulevard this Earth Day 2017 for a spirited March for Science.
