On Monday, May 15, One Acadiana will guide a caravan of leaders from the nine-parish region into the Louisiana State Capitol to show their pride for Acadiana in what they have dubbed “Acadiana Day.”

The procession will meet with the Acadiana Legislative Delegation members, attend committee meetings, see the legislative process in action and hear a special proclamation address in support of the completion of I-49 South.

May 15 will also kick off National Infrastructure Week, so One Acadiana will be joining other business leaders from across the state including the I-49 South Coalition to advocate for the most consequential transportation infrastructure project in the region's history: completing I-49 South.

The event is being sponsored by UL Lafayette Alumni Association, Acadiana Regional Alliance and the I-49 South Coalition.

One Acadiana will hold its Acadiana Day activities on Monday, May 15 at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge. Tickets are $25. For more details, visit OneAcadiana.org.
