INNOV8 Acadiana has teamed up with LAGCOE to connect the best emerging energy innovators with investors ready to move their business ideas forward.

The Energy Innovator’s Pitch Challenge winners will be showcased during LAGCOE 2017 from Oct. 24-26, with a culminating pitch event on the 26th.

Applications are available at here. All energy-related businesses and ideas are encouraged to participate. Eight selected candidates will participate in the “Shark Tank” style pitch competition on Oct. 26.

On Thursday, Oct. 26, from 10-11:30 a.m., each innovator will be given three minutes to pitch his or her idea to a panel of investors following a three-minute Q&A in front of a live audience. The selected candidates will also be given complimentary table space in the LAGCOE 2017 Energy Innovator’s Tent to showcase their emerging innovation or idea throughout the three-day technical exposition and conference.
