Today’s online version of The Independent features a new project. We partnered with UL’s Cinematic Arts Workshop to produce a short clip, “The Flower Ladies.” Award-winning cinematographer Allison Bohl joined me in a flower-filled field near Carencro to interview sisters Marilyn Arton and Susan Durio, who have a small business called Les Dames Des Fleurs. The pair offer their home grown cut flowers at the Oil Center Farmers Market on Saturdays, or make arrangements for small functions. You can watch the video by going to our website or right here:
