In last week's feature about Albania Plantation ("Ageless Beauty"), the builder of the home, Charles Alexander Grevemberg Sr., was cited as a casualty of the Civil War. Grevemberg Sr. died in 1851. His son, Charles Alexander Grevemberg Jr., who inherited Albania, was shot in the battle of Shiloh and died in 1862 at the Confederate Hospital facility in Jackson, Miss.
