In the final days of her administration, former Gov. Kathleen Blanco inked a deal for a $156 million increase in the contract with ICF International to administer the Road Home program. Gov. Bobby Jindal asked that the state inspector general and the state legislative auditor to look into the details of the deal.
Now the Associated Press reports that Jindal's administration has made good on $99 million to ICF. The Citizen's Road Home Action Team had to file a Freedom of Information Act request to learn about $59.6 million of the increase, and it took the state six weeks to respond to the FOIA request.
