Dubbed “Saban Bowl”, the game features former LSU Coach Nick Saban’s first return to Tiger Stadium, this time leading LSU’s SEC West arch-rival the Alabama Crimson Tide, now the No.-1 ranked team in the nation. Earlier in the week, nosebleed section tickets were selling on sites like eBay and Stubhub.com for no less than $400 a piece. Prime, lower level seats were as high as $3,000. The prices have since tapered off some, but anticipation for the game has not. LSU officials are telling fans to arrive early and expect heavy traffic. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium. The game will be televised on CBS. Alabama is a 3-point favorite.
