'Saban Bowl' a hot ticket

If you plan on trying to be in attendance for tomorrow’s Alabama-LSU game in Baton Rouge, you’d better already have tickets, or else be prepared to pay handsomely for them. Dubbed “Saban Bowl”, the game features former LSU Coach Nick Saban’s first return to Tiger Stadium, this time leading LSU’s SEC West arch-rival the Alabama Crimson Tide, now the No.-1 ranked team in the nation. Earlier in the week, nosebleed section tickets were selling on sites like eBay and Stubhub.com for no less than $400 a piece. Prime, lower level seats were as high as $3,000. The prices have since tapered off some, but anticipation for the game has not. LSU officials are telling fans to arrive early and expect heavy traffic. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium. The game will be televised on CBS. Alabama is a 3-point favorite.
