The story "Stone Cold" (Feb. 1) mistakenly stated that Stone Energy President David Welch joined the company in 1994. Welch joined Stone Energy in 2004.
A photo caption for last week's cover story ("On Trial," Feb. 15) incorrectly stated that the Lafayette Police Department's mug shot of Guamas' owner Rubens Mesa was taken out of focus. It was The Independent's photograph of the mug shot that wasn't in focus. Also, the date of the transcript of the 911 call to Lafayette police should have read April 9, 2005.
