It is apparent to me that the so called “Native Cajun Musicians for Free Speech” are not in fact promoting the U.S. Constitution but their own biased centuries old prejudices (“All For a Song,” Jan. 21).
When I viewed the video prior to the election, Louisiana Folk Roots never entered my mind as the producers of the video. And the objections to the video coming from a small-minded group calling themselves “Native Cajuns” is an insult to me and my friends. Applying pressure to Louisiana Folk Roots to disavow the video is absurd and smacks of threats of withdrawing economic support for an organization that has accomplished an amazing promotion of my Cajun culture.
