Cox Communications is merging its south Louisiana operations, the company announced, combining its Baton Rouge-Lafayette offices with its New Orleans operations, according to a report posted today by Baton Rouge Business Report. The Lafayette and Baton Rouge offices merged in 2006.
A Cox spokeswoman tells BRBR, the merger will create the third-largest Cox unit in the nation, but will not lead to the closure of offices.
