Three more days to haul asterisk on certain stretches of road in the Hub City. Lafayette Consolidated Government announced Friday that three more red-light cameras will go into operation just after the stroke of midnight Monday morning: Camellia Boulevard at Kaliste Saloom Road; Camellia at Settlers Trace Boulevard; and Congress Street at Guilbeau Road.

The three new SafeLight locations will bring to a dozen the number of electronic eyes monitoring Lafayette motorists’ driving. LCG’s Traffic and Transportation Department plans to ultimately have 29 such locations.
