I just finished reading "Snake Oil" (May 31). I don't always agree with the attitude of The Independent, but I have to say I was pleased that you did stand up to the injustices of what has been happening to our children for such a long, long time.
Why are people not outraged and upset by all of these hundreds of priests that have been molesting children for such a long, long time? The Catholic Church is not "The Church." It is an institution.
If you are not seeking the kingdom of God then you will miss it. If you think these child-molesting priests will not burn forever if they don't repent then you are wrong. No purgatory. Sorry, it does not exist.
So like I said, where is the outrage? Why are people brainwashed into thinking the priests get special treatment?
