Black Business Expo Saturday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

The State of Greater Black Lafayette Forum has collaborated with the 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette, LCG Parks & Recreation, the Greater Southwest LA Black Chamber of Commerce, Pittman Broadcasting and KJCB Radio to launch its first Black Business Expo this Saturday, Dec. 12.

The expo will feature a wide range of businesses, including retail, legal, investment, photography, insurance, audio, computers, child care, real estate, restaurants and catering operations. The Black Business Expo will be held at the Domingue Recreation Center, 901 Mudd Ave., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; storytelling for children will be from noon to 1 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public. The cost to exhibit is $25.

The goal of the expo is to generate exposure for the exhibitors and encourage the community to support these minority-owned businesses.
