I am writing in reference to your two recent articles concerning the University Art Museum. Having served as an assistant to Herman Mhire on several projects, I can state with absolute certainty that he is a man of the utmost integrity. To have him maligned with such blatant lies and misinformation flies in the face of the years of outstanding work he has carried out to ensure the continued enrichment of the artistic and cultural communities of the university, the city and the region at large. After decades of envisioning a museum of the highest caliber for this area, and, through his ultimate perseverance to finally make that vision a reality, Herman Mhire, the museum and this community deserve straightforward, truthful answers in relation to this ongoing fiasco.
