Workshops at Tipitina's co-op

If you are interested in widening your skill set or specific knowledge of certain types of media, you can attend any number of workshops being held at Tipitina's Co-op over the next month. Tipitina's Co-op, located at 510 Johnston St. in Lafayette, is part of the non-profit Tipitina's Foundation. For a monthly fee of $10, members of the cooperative gain access to computers, recording and film software, musical instruments, and a number of other services; however, all the workshops are free and open to the public. Managing and Booking Bands with Johnny Palazzotto and Lisa Stafford at 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 10
Intro to Final Cut Pro with David Webber at 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 25
Compositing and Mattes with Ben Balser. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (all-day workshop)
