Traces of oil and dispersants found in blue crab larvae in the Gulf of Mexico.

Now that the oil flow from the BP Deepwater Horizon well has been capped, attention is turning toward the possible ill effects of the dispersants and the massive amount of it used in the cleanup.

In the Gulf of Mexico, scientists and marine biologists have found trace "blobs" of oil and dispersant mix under the shells of blue crab larvae. Since May, the orange blobs have been discovered in nearly all of the crab larvae collected by scientists, from Grand Isle to Pensacola.
