Summer Fest hits Parc International on Aug. 14.
Lafayette sure has a lot of festivals. Here's one more for the kids. Summer Fest htis Parc International this weekend on Aug. 14. This end-of-summer festival features Kid's Splash Fest, a family concert, boutiques, vendors and a volleyball tournament, with liive music by Wayne Toups, Side Show, Mike Dean Band and Poison Tribute Band. All benefits go to the Free World Foundation. Bring towels and extra clothing for the kids, because you may get wet. It all goes down at Parc International in downtown Lafayette from 9 a.m.to 9 p.m.
