CC Adocck and HBO's 'True Blood' season two

The Lafayette roots rocker appears in a mini-documentry preceding True Blood's season finale.
Lafayette roots rocker CC Adcock has been flirting with the film and TV industry for over a decade, occasionally having his music featured in various films and TV shows. But it wasn't until last year that he hit his stride with the HBO southern vampire series True Blood. Gary Calamar, True Blood's music director, is a longtime fan of Adcock's two albums, House Rocker and The Lafayette Marquis. For True Blood's first season, Calamar solicited songs from Adcock; one of which, "Bleed 2 Feed," ended up on the Grammy-nominated True Blood Season One soundtrack album. For True Blood's second season, Adcock teamed up with fellow season one soundtrack alumnus Jace Everett. Their collaboration on the Howlin' Wolf song "Evil (Is Going On)" is the second track on True Blood's second season soundtrack album.

On Sept. 12, Adcock will be featured in a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of "Evil" airing right before the True Blood finale.
