The Traditional category held no surprises. 1st Place: Nunu's, Youngsville/Milton; 2nd Place: Best Stop, Scott; 3rd Place: Early's Supermarket, Scott.

In the Speciality category, The Sausage Link in Sulphur came in first with their fried, bacon wrapped, smoked boudin. Second place (a personal fave) was the smoked boudin from Early's in Scott. Third was the succulent crawfish boudin from Billeaud's in Broussard.

In the Unlinked category, the perennial favorite, Nunu's came out on top with a cheesy topped, boudin stuffed bell pepper. Chop's in Broussard came in second with a lightly sugared boudin stuffed beignet. Third place was the pepper jack and jalapeño stuffed fried boudin ball from Johnson's Boucaniere, Lafayette.

The People's Choice, ostensibly the most coveted category of all, was dominated by Nunu's. Second place belonged to the jalapeño boudin from T-Boy's in Mamou.

Are you ready? Are you Cajun? It's time to eat some more boudin. Go to the Boudin Link website for directions to each of these boudin stops. And then, get going.
