Jindal hits talk shows to discuss 'leadership and crisis'

Gov. Bobby Jindal is back on the road this week to promote his new book Leadership and Crisis.

Gov. Bobby Jindal is back on the road this week to promote his new book Leadership and Crisis. This morning, Jindal hit the morning talk show circuit, appearing on both The Today Show and Fox and Friends.

According to a scheduling note from Jindal Press Secretary Kyle Plotkin, Jindal will conduct several interviews in New York City until he leaves for San Diego, Calif., on Tuesday evening for the Republican Governors Association's annual conference. Gov. Jindal will remain in San Diego for the RGA conference through Friday morning, Nov. 19. On Friday afternoon, the governor will attend a fundraiser in support of his gubernatorial reelection campaign in Los Angeles. On Saturday, Nov. 20 the Governor will speak at the Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara, CA and then travel to Washington, DC later that day where he will hold media interviews for his book Leadership and Crisis until he returns to Baton Rouge on Tuesday morning (November 23rd).

In the interviews this morning, Jindal echoed his book's criticism of the Obama administration and its response to the BP oil spill disaster. Jindal also gave the response on both shows to questions about whether his new book was a prelude to a run for president next year. "Next year you'll have a lot of Republicans in Iowa," he said. "I'll be in Louisiana." Watch the interviews here:
