Dumbest thing ever bought?
In my "punk" days I bought a pair of 10-eyelet, white Gripfast boots with black soles/laces, They were so impressively loud that I could not, even in my punk rock uniform, wear them with anything. They were worn maybe 3 times and then donated to Salvation Army or something.
Favorite Records of past 10 Years?
Untrue, Burial. Discovery by Daft Punk. The Blackened Air by Nina Nastasia. The latest Big Boi album. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix by Phoenix.
Favorite worst movie ever made?
I haven't watched it yet, but The Phantom of the Paradise looks pretty amazing. Does anyone have this on DVD? Can I watch it with you? Black Dynamite is a laugh-and-a-half send-up of 70s Blacksploitation films, oddly enough written by and starring the dude who played Spawn in the very-bad and not-good-at-all movie based off of the comic book. Tommy Davidson plays a character named "Creamed Corn" and Cedric Yarborough is a pimp called "Chocolate Giddyup".
Favorite nutty historical figure?
Chuck Tatman.
Weapon of choice?
You can diffuse any situation Jackie Wilson.
Favorite hang out spot?
Anywhere with a front porch is ideal.
Favorite truck stop food or snack?
Nachos. With lots of jalapenos and the cheese that is artificially colored.
Most necessary item to bring while out of town?
Laptop. Laptop laptop. Also, I guess money and proper identification. Mostly laptop.

I remember as a kid going to Holly Beach with my brand new Transformers toy. It could turn into a dump truck. I lost it in the stupid Gulf.

I hear credit unions are the way to go. I always keep cash in my back left pants pocket. Don't tell anyone.
Most useful invention of the past decade?
DJ MIDI controllers in conjunction with good DJ software. It saves me the hassle of having to carry records and CDs to every gig.
2012. Blind date with disaster vs. metaphysical upgrade?
I'm mostly worried about that one guy with the 2012' show on AOC. He'll probably have so many stickers left over! What's he gonna do with them?
