Tumbling dice with Vince Gill

by Dege Legg

Country music heavyweight Vince Gill plays the Paragon Casino.

He has recorded more than 20 studio albums, charted more than 40 singles and sold more than 26 million albums. Country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vince Gill will be making his way through Louisiana later this week when he plays at the Paragon Casino in Marksville on Feb. 11.

After moving to Nashville in 1983, Gill signed a record deal with MCA and released his debut solo album, When I Call Your Name. The title song of the record went on to become a major hit on the country music charts. The rest, as they say, is history. Since then, he has sold millions of record, won 18 CMA awards, 19 Grammys and been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Paragon Casino Resort is located on Highway 1 in Marksville. The casino is owned and operated by the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana.
