HONKY
Honky traffics in Texas punk rock & roll. Part Stooges Funhouse part Urban Cowboy and part backwoods greaser, for over a decade they've been tearing up and tearing down clubs like the journeymen rock heads they were born to be. When going to see Honky, fronted by Jeff Pinkus of The Butthole Surfers, expect four on the floor rock and roll as opposed to the psychedelic freak out of his other band.

Lafayette's resident old school punks, Freetown Hounds opens for Honky with their beef-brand of slug blues and hard rock on Feb. 10 at the Wild Salmon.
