This meeting promises to be more harmonious than Patin's last tilt with his constituents. City-Parish Councilman Keith Patin will host a town hall meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday at the Southside Regional Library. The District 8 rep says the meeting will provide "an open discussion of any issues within the district.

This meeting promises to be more harmonious than Patin's last tilt with his constituents. On Feb. 23 a Patin-hosted town hall meeting dissolved into acrimony when Parc Lafayette developer got into a verbal sparring match with members of the Tea Party of Lafayette over the then-controversial ordinances that would have created tax increment financing districts to help bankroll his project.
