Limbaugh heaps praise on former 'prostitute' Landrieu

Apparently U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu is only a prostitute when she disagrees with Rush Limbaugh.

Apparently U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu is only a prostitute when she disagrees with Rush Limbaugh. The conservative political commentator actually has had nice words for Landrieu's position on keeping tax breaks for oil producers, a far cry from the sexist venom he and Glenn Beck spewed when she voted to allow the Senate health care reform bill to be brought to the floor for debate. That criticism prompted Landrieu to deliver an emotional defense of her position, and herself, on the Senate floor in February 2010.

Last week, however, Limbaugh was heaping praise on the Louisiana Democrat for another impassioned defense, this time of Big Oil and the jobs it provides in Louisiana. Speaking on the Senate floor last week, Landrieu said: "This will not reduce gasoline prices. So why are we doing it? Will it create jobs? No. It will actually hurt job production in the United States.

"Why don't you help us produce more, because we can do it, but we get shut down by bureaucracy, moratoriums, permatorium, rules, regulations, EPA, refuges," Landrieu added. "We can't even get free to produce the energy that we can produce for this country."
