Visit Pont Breaux Farmer's Market

by Robin Hebert

Breaux Bridge's Farmer's Market and Art Fair Saturday, August 6Visit Pont Breaux Farmer's Market...

"Think home grown tomatoes, green and red, cucumbers fresh from the garden.  Think home canned tomato sauce or goat cheese made from locally owned goats, crumbled, and blended with figs, Tuscan style and the list goes on," said Ginger Schouest, owner of La Boutiques de Pont Breaux, about the Farmer's Market.

After leaving La Boutiques with a basket full of fresh vegetables and cheese and the perfect handmade apron, you cannot wait to get home and make a super fresh salad while prancing around in your Jessie Steele inspired apron.

However before you leave Breaux Bridge's Farmer's Market and Art Fair, you decide to look around a few minutes more and send hubby off with Junior for face painting.  Then you spot the beautiful trendy flat pearls, handcrafted from a local artisan and you decide you've earned those pearls.

Time for a break, you grab a java and a champagne truffle and a chair under the umbrella on the bistro table and of course a copy of the latest "Independent".  What a perfect day you decide.

Join us at the Breaux Bridge Farmer's Market and Art Fair on Saturday, August 6.  Fair is from 10 am 4 pm.
