Photographer Sonny Monteleone wants you to take a walk with him Oct. 2. Monteleone has organized his city of Breaux Bridge to take part in the nationwide Photo Walk this Sunday.
This is the fourth annual Photo Walk organized by Scott Kelby, president of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. The idea is to explore an area while practicing your photography skills and meeting other people who are either professional or amateurs. In organizing this he invited people from anywhere to host their city or town's participation in this walk which is where Monteleone comes in.
Monteleone is the owner of Bella Arti Custom Framing & Photography in Breaux Bridge and he has organized Breaux Bridge's part in this. Anyone can come but children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at 2:30 p.m. this Sunday at the Farmers Merchants Bank parking lotat the corner of Bridge and Main streets in downtown Breaux Bridge. Participants are invited to Angelle's Old Fashioned Hamburgers at 6 p.m. where a special menu will be served for the event.
