Legalize Louisiana, the grassroots, nonpartisan group that has been agitating for the legalization of marijuana, will stage an awareness march this afternoon. The march will commence at 3 p.m. at Girard Park and proceed to the parish courthouse downtown, or, as the group's press release puts it, "the official municipal centers of civil and human rights abuses, where [marchers] will demand only best practices according to Constitutional Oaths and individual, inalienable rights to life and liberty."
