by Leslie Turk

Political commentator Ann Coulter will be at the Cajundome Convention Center Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Political commentator Ann Coulter is the keynote speaker for the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association's 2011 Gulf Coast Prospect & Shale Expo at the Cajundome Convention Center Tuesday, Oct. 18.

A one-day marketplace for the buying and selling of oil and gas prospects, the event also highlights all aspects of conventional and non-conventional exploration. The GCPSE says it provides an unmatched opportunity for industry networking, serving as a venue for companies and individuals to market Gulf coast and other regional prospects.

The keynote speaker is New York Times best selling author and political commentator, Ann Coulter. Coulter is the legal correspondent for the conservative magazine Human Events and writes a syndicated column for Universal Press Syndicate. She is a frequent guest on many TV shows, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, The O'Reilly Factor, The Glen Beck Show, HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, and has been profiled in numerous publications.

The luncheon gets under way at 11:30, and Coulter's talk will start at noon. Registration as an exhibitor, viewer or sponsor includes a seat at the keynote luncheon. You can still pre-register or register at the door to attend the full conference (and luncheon) for $150. Contact LOGA at 1-800-443-1433 for more info.
